I find this movie to be more horrific than many so-called horror films. The lack of respect that Alex and his gang have for everyone else lets them commit unspeakable atrocities without a second thought. As usual, Kubrick makes brilliant use of music; in particular, the juxtaposition of classical music with scenes of brutality make them all the more poignant.
